Prime Video unveiled a new Blade Runner 2099 trailer at New York Comic Con on Saturday 10 October. It gives us a longer look at the future Los Angeles at the heart of the series. Here is what we know ahead of its November release.
What Happened
Prime Video screened a new two-minute-and-39-second Blade Runner 2099 trailer during its NYCC panel. The trailer gives us a more in-depth and substantial look at the eight-part limited series, which will be released on 25 November 2026.
Watch the Official Trailer
The story picks up 50 years after Blade Runner 2049. Hunter Schafer plays Cora, a fugitive who takes on the identity of a Blade Runner. Michelle Yeoh plays Olwen, a Replicant nearing the end of her life. Together, they pursue a runaway whose secret could upend the city’s fragile order. The trailer shows more of this world but keeps the mystery under wraps.

Why It Matters for Viewers
Beyond the familiar neon, the trailer points to a detective story built around Cora and Olwen. One is on the run; the other is running out of time. Whether that pairing can carry the story across eight episodes remains to be seen.
Movieversalfilm Takeaway
The new trailer gives Blade Runner 2099 a clearer story of its own, with Cora and Olwen at the centre. We will have to wait until 25 November to see how their mystery plays out across eight episodes on Prime Video.
