Amid the chaos of a mysterious war, two victims of an attack take refuge in a cottage in the English countryside, where an enigmatic caretaker insists they must stick together.
Littermates, from Scott Tinkham and Michael Woloson, opens exclusively at Alamo Drafthouse cinemas in the US this Friday.

It keeps its secrets well, and its tension even better.

A House of Secrets
The contained set-up is used well, and the directors build unease out of very little. The war outside is kept vague, which adds to the mystery.
At under 90 minutes it is admirably tight.
Small but Effective
Critics have been strongly positive. The budget is modest, but the atmosphere does the heavy lifting.
It is the kind of film that rewards going in blind.
