Trailer Drop · 17 October 2026
Paramount+ has released the official teaser for Frisco King, Taylor Sheridan’s new series expanding the Tulsa King universe. Samuel L. Jackson reclaims the role of Russell Lee Washington Jr., and the show premieres with two episodes on Friday 18 December, followed by new episodes every Friday.

What the Series Is About
Written by Sheridan, Frisco King follows seasoned New Orleans gangster Lee Washington as he lands in Frisco, Texas, and discovers “a hustler’s playground hidden beneath the polished surface of American suburbia.” Recruiting an ambitious protégé, a loyal driver and a growing network of eccentric partners, Lee turns small hustles into big business. Every new score raises the stakes, though, and as his influence grows, so do the risks.
Sheridan writes all eight episodes of the first season, with Christina Alexandra Voros, who directs the pilot, and Michael Friedman each directing four. Paramount+ says Tulsa King’s Sylvester Stallone makes a special appearance, and Stallone and Jackson are also executive producers alongside Sheridan. The announcement came a day before Tulsa King returned for its fourth season.
