Synopsis
For Tenzing Norgay, the mountain is more than a summit to conquer. Jennifer Peedom’s drama follows the Himalayan climber as he fights to be recognised as a member of the British Everest expedition, supported by his wife Dawa and expedition secretary Jill Henderson. Alongside Edmund Hillary, he faces both the dangers of the ascent and the divisions within the team, in a story shaped by trust, ambition and his deep reverence for Chomolungma.
