Trailer Drop · Official UK Trailer · 29 October 2026
Meet Buddy, a magical, singing orange unicorn who is not as friendly as he looks. Vertigo Releasing has unveiled the official UK trailer for Buddy, a horror film from director Casper Kelly in which Keegan-Michael Key’s unicorn holds his cast hostage in a surreal TV-show dimension. It opens in UK and Irish cinemas on 27 November.
Not Your Usual Kids’ Show
Cristin Milioti, Topher Grace and Patton Oswalt co-star as the people trapped in Buddy’s world, as the unicorn becomes more and more demented. The film runs 1 hour 36 minutes.
The short UK trailer plays up the clash between cheerful children’s TV and creeping dread. For another family-friendly take on scares, see our Monster Mia (2026) Super Review: A Wholesome Halloween Romp at a School for Scares.
