Trailer Drop · Official Trailer · 28 October 2026
“It is a truth universally acknowledged…” Netflix has released the official trailer for its six-part Pride and Prejudice, written for the screen by Dolly Alderton, with Emma Corrin as Elizabeth Bennet, Jack Lowden as Mr Darcy and Olivia Colman as Mrs Bennet. It streams on Netflix, including in the UK, from 3 December.
First Impressions, Second Thoughts
Netflix describes the series as a faithful yet fresh adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel, in which hasty first impressions between Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy develop into something deeper.
Alderton, the author of Everything I Know About Love, adapts the novel across six episodes. Colman most recently impressed us in Wicker (2026) Super Review: Olivia Colman Weaves a Bawdy, Tender Fairy Tale.
