Trailer Drop · 21 October 2026
Netflix has released the official trailer for Taken: Natalee Holloway, a three-part documentary series about the American teenager who vanished in Aruba in 2005. All three episodes arrive on Netflix in the UK on Wednesday 4 November 2026.

What the Series Covers
On 30 May 2005, 18-year-old Natalee Holloway went missing on a high school graduation trip to Aruba and never came home. What followed, Netflix says, was years of unanswered questions and a mother’s relentless fight for the truth. Now, more than 20 years later, Natalee’s mother, Beth Holloway, tells the complete story, from the day of the disappearance to a dramatic confession two decades later. The series has exclusive access to Beth, to those who were with Natalee when she vanished and to investigators, along with never-before-seen footage.
It is directed by Dani Sloane (The Menendez Brothers, Girl in the Picture) and Matthew Galkin (One Night in Idaho: The College Murders) and made by Liz Garbus and Dan Cogan’s Story Syndicate, the company behind Titan: The OceanGate Disaster. Garbus, Cogan, Jon Bardin, Sloane and Tommy Coriale are executive producers.
