What to Watch Tonight UK · Saturday 7 November 2026
Robert Eggers’ gothic horror Nosferatu joins Netflix today, just in time for a cold Saturday night. Episode four of the Baba Yaga thriller YAGA lands on Sky Atlantic and NOW, Legend has William Shatner’s classic Twilight Zone “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet” at 8pm, and BBC Four’s François Truffaut night opens with The Bride Wore Black at 9.10pm. We also have a free BAFTA-nominated gem on Channel 4 and a Remembrance-weekend Star Trek classic.

NEWLY ADDED: Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu (2024) arrives on Netflix
- Service: Netflix, from today
- Runtime: 2 hours 12 minutes
- Age rating: 15
- Written and directed by: Robert Eggers
- Starring: Bill Skarsgård, Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Willem Dafoe
- Critics: 85% on Rotten Tomatoes; four Oscar nominations, including Best Cinematography
- UK availability: Streaming on Netflix in the UK from today, Saturday 7 November. Also on NOW Cinema
Eggers takes on the 1922 silent classic and makes it his own: a cold, candlelit nightmare in which Lily-Rose Depp’s haunted Ellen draws Bill Skarsgård’s Count Orlok across Europe while her husband Thomas (Nicholas Hoult) tries to get home from Transylvania. It looks extraordinary, it is properly frightening, and Willem Dafoe has a great time as the occultist who knows what is coming. Turn the lights off for this one.
Perfect if you liked The Witch, Crimson Peak or Bram Stoker’s Dracula. It is also in our definitive guide to must-watch horror films.
NEW EPISODE TODAY: YAGA episode 4, “Dance with the Devil”, Sky Atlantic and NOW
- Service: Sky Atlantic and NOW
- Episode: Episode 4 of 8, “Dance with the Devil”, out today
- Age rating: 15
- Created by: Kat Sandler
- Starring: Hudson Williams, Carrie-Anne Moss, Noah Reid and Clark Backo
- Critics: 79% on Rotten Tomatoes
- UK availability: New episodes every Saturday on Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK and Ireland; the two-part finale lands on 28 November
Kat Sandler’s Canadian thriller retells the Slavic legend of Baba Yaga through the disappearance of Henry Park (Hudson Williams), heir to a fishing business in a small coastal town. The first three episodes dropped together last Saturday, so there is still time to catch up before tonight’s fourth. It is a creepy, slow-burn mystery with Carrie-Anne Moss in commanding form, and it suits a dark November weekend perfectly.
Perfect if you liked Yellowjackets, Midnight Mass or Twin Peaks. We first flagged it in our Weekly Streaming Highlights, and this week’s list is in our latest Weekly Streaming Highlights.
ON TV TONIGHT: William Shatner in The Twilight Zone, “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet” (1963), Legend at 8pm
- Channel: Legend at 8pm (free on Freeview), followed by “A Kind of Stopwatch” at 8.30pm
- Runtime: 30 minutes
- Directed by: Richard Donner, from a script by Richard Matheson
- Starring: William Shatner
- UK availability: On Legend tonight. Not currently on a UK subscription streamer; the series is to buy on the main digital stores
Three years before Star Trek, William Shatner plays a nervous passenger who is just back from a breakdown and sees something on the wing of his plane in the middle of a storm. Nobody else can see it. It is half an hour of pure, sweaty paranoia, and one of the most copied episodes of television ever made. It makes the perfect warm-up for a Saturday night of scares.
Perfect if you liked Black Mirror, Inside No. 9 or Twilight Zone: The Movie. Shatner’s later voyages are mapped out in our Star Trek watch guide.
ON TV TONIGHT: François Truffaut’s The Bride Wore Black (1968), BBC Four at 9.10pm
- Channel: BBC Four at 9.10pm, then free on BBC iPlayer
- Runtime: 1 hour 47 minutes
- Directed by: François Truffaut
- Starring: Jeanne Moreau
- Critics: 83% on Rotten Tomatoes
- UK availability: BBC Four tonight and free on BBC iPlayer
Jeanne Moreau plays a widow who calmly tracks down the five men she blames for her husband’s death on their wedding day, one by one. Truffaut’s homage to Hitchcock comes with a Bernard Herrmann score and plenty of cool, dark wit. Stay with BBC Four afterwards: Scene by Scene with Jeanne Moreau follows at 10.55pm, then an Omnibus profile of Truffaut at 11.45pm.
Perfect if you liked Kill Bill, Lady Snowblood or Marnie. More dates are in our UK release calendar.
HIDDEN GEM: Ben Sharrock’s Limbo (2020), free on Channel 4
- Service: Channel 4 streaming, free
- Runtime: 1 hour 44 minutes
- Age rating: 12A
- Written and directed by: Ben Sharrock
- Starring: Amir El-Masry
- Critics: 93% on Rotten Tomatoes; BAFTA-nominated
- UK availability: Streaming free on Channel 4 in the UK; also on MUBI
A Syrian musician waits for news of his asylum claim on a windswept Scottish island, carrying his grandfather’s oud everywhere and sitting through absurd “cultural awareness” classes. Sharrock’s film is dry, deadpan and very funny, then quietly heartbreaking, with Amir El-Masry giving a superb, understated lead performance. Few people caught it in cinemas, and it is free to watch tonight.
Perfect if you liked Local Hero, The Banshees of Inisherin or Aftersun.
STAR TREK CLASSIC: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, “The Siege of AR-558” (1998), Paramount+
- Service: Paramount+
- Episode: Season 7, episode 8
- Runtime: 45 minutes
- Age rating: 15
- Starring: Avery Brooks, Armin Shimerman, Aron Eisenberg and Cirroc Lofton
- UK availability: All seven seasons streaming on Paramount+ in the UK
With the Festival of Remembrance on BBC One tonight and Remembrance Sunday tomorrow, this is the Star Trek episode to watch. Sisko brings supplies to a battered Federation unit that has held a remote outpost against the Dominion for months, and finds soldiers worn down to the bone. Quark and Nog are along for the ride, and the cost of war is shown more plainly than anywhere else in the franchise.
Perfect if you liked Band of Brothers, Battlestar Galactica or Star Trek: The Next Generation’s “The Best of Both Worlds”. Plan your next binge with our Star Trek watch guide.
