“Look fear in the face.” Before the full trailers, Warner Bros. introduced DC Studios’ Clayface with this one-minute official teaser, and it is still the purest hit of the film’s body-horror mood. James Watkins’ horror thriller, starring Tom Rhys Harries as the Gotham villain, is now showing in UK cinemas after opening on 23 October.
Where Matt Hagen’s Nightmare Began
Clayface follows one man’s horrifying descent from rising Hollywood star to revenge-filled monster. Warner Bros. calls it DC Studios’ first-ever move into horror, in a story about the loss of identity and humanity, corrosive love and the dark underbelly of scientific ambition.

Tom Rhys Harries leads a cast that includes Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella and Eddie Marsan, with Nancy Carroll and Joshua James. Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini wrote the screenplay.
