Trailer Drop · Official Trailer · 3 November 2026
Rob Lowe is telling his own story. Netflix has released the official trailer for Rob Lowe: The Outsider, a documentary that promises to go “beyond the highlight reel” to show what it really took for him to survive Hollywood. It arrives on Netflix, including in the UK, on Tuesday 24 November 2026.
Beyond the Highlight Reel
Netflix calls it the definitive documentary about Lowe, tracing how he became one of Hollywood’s most enduring stars. The title nods to The Outsiders, Francis Ford Coppola’s 1983 film that helped launch him alongside the rest of the so-called Brat Pack.
Lowe’s career runs from St. Elmo’s Fire to The West Wing, Parks and Recreation and 9-1-1: Lone Star, and he has also been busy on the big screen lately, as in the Confession trailer we covered last week.
Netflix has not named the director or the full list of contributors in its announcement. For more of what is coming this month, see What Is Coming Next: November 2026.
