Trailer Drop · New Trailer · 27 October 2026
Chris Pratt plays a Navy SEAL turned summer-holiday drill instructor in the new trailer for Way of the Warrior Kid, Apple’s family film directed by McG. It premieres globally on Apple TV, including the UK, on Wednesday 25 November 2026.
Operation Warrior Kid
Jude Hill, the young star of Belfast, plays Marc, a good kid who is bullied at middle school and feels behind at everything, from lessons to PE to making friends. That changes when his injured Uncle Jake (Pratt), a decorated Navy SEAL, comes to spend the summer recovering with Marc and his mum, Sarah (Linda Cardellini).
To help Marc stand up for himself, Jake builds an ambitious programme based on his SEAL training. Rather than teaching his nephew to fight, he shows him what real courage looks like, and faces his own demons along the way. The trailer mixes training-montage comedy with a warmer story about a boy and his uncle.
The film is based on the bestselling novel by former Navy SEAL Jocko Willink, with a screenplay by Will Staples (Without Remorse). Ava Torres, Levi McConaughey, Darien Sills-Evans, Carl McDowell and Parker Young also star. For more new trailers, see tonight’s Dune: Part Three final trailer and this week’s Trailer Radar.
